Three Essentials In Online Article Writing

There are a lot of important aspects of article writing for your online business. Learn here about three vital- to- your-success things you should consider when writing website content:

  1. Hot headlines
  2. A compelling first paragraph
  3. Piquing curiosity

The Headline

The headline you write can attract search engines who will crawl your site and send you traffic and those people it brings can become your customers. That headline needs to tell people why they should read what you have to say.

A person surfing the web has a lot of choices to make when they land on a search engine results page. You need your headline to be the most compelling thing they find. You’re going to be competing with sponsored ads and other websites vying for the same traffic you are striving to reach so that headline has to grab that reader and subliminally say, “Click me!”

The First Paragraph

Most website surfers have A.D.D (attention deficit disorder) because they know the Internet offers them an endless web of things to see and do. So, if you don’t pique someone’s interest and then grab then before the end of the first paragraph on your page, they’re either going to barely skim the rest of your content or they’ll leave the page.  The first paragraph has to tell them why they should read the whole page, right to the end.

Curiosity

Don’t give so much away in your website article that the user is left satiated. If so, will they need to learn more? Will they need to click an ad on the page, or a box that says “Buy Now!”? Not likely. You need to write with a great combination of valuable information so that you appear to be an authority on a subject but only with just enough information so that you’ve left people salivating and wanting to know more. That way, they’ll click your link, subscribe to your mailing list, or they’ll buy your information product.
