3 Ways To Increase Your Conversion Rates

I’m helping a new client increase their conversion rates. They have a great product and they are getting steady sales but they want to do more.  That’s the thing about successful (or soon-to-be successful) internet entrepreneurs, they never simply settle.  If you get to 1% conversion, you need to up your game to get to 1.5. Once you hit that goal, you need to set a new one.  If you become complacent, you’ll slide off the scale into internet nothingness. The top selling internet products didn’t get there without a plan and certainly didn’t get to the top of the heap without some fine tuning to sales copy.

Here are three ways to increase your conversion rates:

1.  Improve your copy. What’s wrong with it? Maybe nothing but there might be some tweaks you can do to increase your traffic and convince your readers that your product is the answer to their problems!  It’s amazing what a single well-placed sentence or tweaked call to action can do. If you don’t see any need for improvement, ask an expert copywriter to look it over for you. Fresh eyes can do wonders!

2. Offer a bonus.  Put the price down (for a limited time), offer something extra, do something interesting.  You want to create urgency so that people don’t say, “Eh…I’ll come back to this later after I’ve thought on it.”

3.  Get the visitors on your mailing list! Make a squeeze page to get them to subscribe to a newsletter, to get a free report or another  *freebie*.  If you can’t convince them to buy now, maybe you can convince them to buy later. You work hard to get people to your website and / or landing page(s). It may take more than one interaction to convert them into customers.

Happy selling!
